Daniel Barlow est président de la chambre commerciale internationale de la cour d’appel de Paris (CCIP-CA). Ancien élève de l’Ecole nationale de la magistrature, il a notamment été en poste à la Direction des affaires civiles et du Sceau du ministère de la justice (2003-2011), où il occupa les fonctions de chef du bureau du droit commercial et participa, à ce titre, à l’élaboration de nombreux textes français et européens de droit économique. Nommé conseiller référendaire à la Cour de cassation en mars 2011, il est appelé, en août 2013, pour servir comme secrétaire général du premier président, avant d’être désigné secrétaire général du Conseil supérieur de la magistrature sur proposition conjointe du premier président et du procureur général de cette Cour. Premier vice-président au tribunal judiciaire de Nanterre de 2019 à 2022, il a assuré l’animation du pôle civil de cette juridiction dont il présidait la première chambre, notamment spécialisée en droit de la propriété intellectuelle, droit de la concurrence et droit de la presse, ainsi que la chambre civile de l’environnement.

Daniel Barlow is President of the International Commercial Chamber of the Paris Court of Appeal (ICCP-CA). A former student of the National School for the Judiciary, he notably held office in the Department of Civil Affairs of the Ministry of Justice (2003-2011) where he was Head of the Commercial Law office and participated, in this capacity, in the drafting of several French and European texts on economic law. Appointed judge-referee at the Court of Cassation in March 2011, he was called upon, in August 2013, to serve as the Secretary General of the First President, before being appointed as the Secretary General of the High Council of the Judiciary, on the joint proposal of the First President and the Chief Prosecutor of this Court. First Vice-President of the Nanterre judicial Court from 2019 to 2022, he led the civil division of this Court, where he chaired the first chamber, mainly specialized in intellectual property law, competition law and press law. He also chaired the Civil Chamber for the environment.

Fabienne Schaller est présidente à la chambre commerciale internationale de la cour d'appel de Paris (CCIP-CA). Elle est née à Bâle (Suisse). Elle a prêté serment au barreau de Paris en 1986 et au barreau de New York en 1992. Elle est diplômée de l'Université de Paris-X Nanterre où elle a obtenu un DEA de droit du travail, et de la faculté de droit de New York (NYU) où elle a obtenu un Master en droit de la concurrence. Après avoir exercé comme avocat à Paris et à New York, elle a rejoint la magistrature en 1997. Elle a exercé les fonctions de juge de première instance à Paris, Evry, Nanterre et Bobigny. Entre 2008 et 2014, elle a été détachée au ministère de la Justice et a participé à la négociation des directives européennes sur les garanties procédurales en matière pénale ainsi qu'à diverses conventions internationales au sein du Conseil de l'Europe. Elle a également occupé les fonctions de Vice-présidente au Tribunal de grande instance de Paris, à la chambre des délits économiques et financiers complexes. Nommée conseillère à la cour d'appel de Paris depuis le 1er janvier 2016, elle s'est spécialisée en droit des transports, droit de la concurrence, des contrats commerciaux et des ruptures brutales. Elle a été nommée le 4 avril 2018 conseillère à la nouvelle chambre commerciale internationale. Elle a été nommée Présidente de Chambre le 2 janvier 2023.

Fabienne Schaller is a President in the international commercial chamber of the Paris court of appeal (CCIP-CA). She was born in Basel, Switzerland. She was admitted to the Paris Bar in 1986 and to the New York Bar in 1992. She graduated with a master of employment law from Paris X-Nanterre Law School and a LL.M in trade regulation from NYU Law School. After practicing as a lawyer in Paris and New York, she joined the Bench in 1997. She was appointed as a Judge in the first instance courts of Paris, Evry, Nanterre and Bobigny. Between 2008 and 2014, she worked at the Ministry of Justice and participated actively in the negotiations of EU directives on procedural safeguards in criminal proceedings and of several international conventions within the Counsel of Europe in Strasbourg. She was appointed as vice-president in the criminal division of the Paris Court where she dealt with complex financial cases. As an appeal Judge in the commercial division of the Paris Court of appeal (2016-2018), she specialized in transport law, unfair competition, agency and wrongful termination of contracts. She was appointed in April 2018 in the new international commercial chamber. She was appointed President on January 2, 2023.

Laure Aldebert a débuté sa carrière en 1993 comme avocate spécialisée en droit commercial avant d'intégrer la magistrature en 2000. Elle a exercé des fonctions juridictionnelles au sein de plusieurs juridictions (Tribunaux de grande instance). Elle a aussi été chargée de fonctions administratives à la Direction des affaires civiles et du Sceau entre 2005 et 2007 et au secrétariat général de la Cour d'appel de Paris (2010 -2014). Elle a été nommée en septembre 2018 conseillère à la chambre commerciale internationale de la cour d'appel de Paris. Avant septembre 2018 elle était vice-président à la 3éme chambre du Tribunal de grande instance de Paris, spécialisée dans le contentieux de la propriété intellectuelle. Laure Aldebert est titulaire du Magistère de juriste d'affaires-Diplôme juriste conseil entreprise(DJCE) délivré par l'Université Paris II- Panthéon -Assas (France) et du certificat d'admission à la profession d'avocat (1992).

Laure Aldebert started her career in 1993 as a lawyer specialised in commercial law and then entered the National School for Magistrates in 2000. She has been serving as judge in severals courts (Tribunaux de grande instance). She has also been in charge of administrative matters in civil law department at the Ministry of Justice between 2005 and 2007 and for the General Secretariat of the Court of Appeal of Paris (2010-2014). She was appointed in Septembre 2018 as a Judge in the new international commercial chamber of the Paris court of appeal. Prior to that she worked for the Paris Tribunal de grande instance as a vice-president of the chamber specialised in intellectual property law. Laure Aldebert holds a Masters degree in commercial law from the University of Paris II- Panthéon-Assas and passed the exam for the admission to the Paris bar in 1992.

Najma El Farissi est greffière. Elle a étudié à l'Université Paris II – Panthéon Assas, et a passé le concours de greffier des services judiciaires en 2019. Avant de rejoindre la CCIP-CA en 2021, elle a été nommée à la cour d'appel de Paris où elle a exercé au sein du pôle social. Elle maîtrise plusieurs langues étrangères dont l'anglais.

Najma El Farissi is a clerk. She graduated from University Paris II – Panthéon Assas, and passed the Clerk Exam ("concours de greffier des services judiciaires") in 2019. Before joining the ICCP-CA in 2021, she was appointed to the Paris court of appeal where she practised in a chamber specialized in Labour Law. She is fluent in several foreign languages, English among them.

Carine Rutschmann a rejoint la CCIP-CA en janvier 2022 en tant que juriste assistante spécialisée pour apporter son expertise dans le traitement des affaires de la Chambre. Ancienne avocate des barreaux des Hauts de Seine puis de Paris, elle a développé une expertise en matière de relations internationales, notamment fiscales, dans des cabinets d’avocats anglo-saxons (américain, anglais et canadien) mais également dans une multinationale américaine où elle fut responsable fiscale Europe. Elle a fait des études commerciales internationales (Hautes Etudes Commerciales) avec une spécialisation juridique et fiscale internationale, études ensuite complétées par des études de droit en France. Elle est ainsi titulaire d’un Master en droit communautaire de l’université Robert Schuman de Strasbourg.

Carine Rutschmann joined the ICCP-CA in January 2019 as specialised jurist to contribute with her expertise to the handling of the cases of the Chamber. Formerly a lawyer at the Barreau des Hauts de Seine (France) then at the Paris Bar, she developed an expertise in international matters, in particular international tax matters, working for anglo-saxon law firms (American, English and Canadian firms) but also for an American multinational company for which she was the European tax manager. She graduated from an International Business School (“Hautes Etudes Commerciales”) with a major in international legal and tax matters, then complemented by law studies in France.Thus she holds a Master Degree in EU Law from Robert Schuman University in Strasbourg.
