Rencontre de la CCIP-CA avec le département judiciaire d'Abu Dhabi /ICCP-CA meeting with the judicial department of Abu Dhabi

François Ancel, président de la chambre commerciale internationale de la cour d’appel de Paris s'est rendu à Abu Dhabi les 14 et 15 octobre 2019 à l'invitation du Département judiciaire d'Abu Dhabi en partenariat avec l'Ecole Nationale de la Magistrature, à l'occasion d'une conférence ayant pour thème "justice et investissement.  Cette conférence a permis de présenter, à travers l'exemple de la France, les enjeux liés à l'attractivité d'un système juridique et ce à travers ses deux volets, l'attractivité du droit (en prenant l'exemple de la réforme du droit de l'arbitrage et la réforme du droit des contrats) et l'attractivité du système judiciaire (en évoquant la création des chambres commerciales internationales). Elle a été ainsi l'occasion de faire une présentation des chambres commerciales internationales du ressort de la cour d'appel de Paris.

English Version :

On the 14th and 15th of October 2019, the President of the international commercial chamber of the court of Paris François Ancel took part in  Abu Dhabi to the conference on the theme "Justice and Investment" on the invitation of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department in partnership with the French College for the Judiciary  (Ecole Nationale de la Magistrature).  At this conference were presented, through the example of France, the challenges related to the legal system's attractiveness in its two components, the attractiveness of the Law (with the examples of the arbitration law reform and the contract law reform in France) and the attractiveness of the judicial system (with reference to the creation of  international commercial chambers). It was thus the opportunity to make a presentation of the international commercial chambers within the jurisdiction of the Paris Court of Appeal.
